He was the son of Sayyed Saif-ud-Din Yahyah. He was a great and a large group from Jerusalem learnt Hadith from him. His dates of birth and death are not available. He had two sons; Sheikh Abdul Qadir and Sheikh Ila’-ud-Din Ali. In Nuzhat-ul-Khawa’tir, Mulla Ali Qa’ri says that Sheikh Abdul Qadir died childless and Ila’-ud-Din Ni Gilani al-Hamvi had three sons whose names were Sayyed Badar-ud-Din Hasan, Sayyed Shams-ud-Din and Sayyed Noor-ud-Din Hussain.
